SHIRLEY (RAZZANO) CLARK

Shirley Ann Clark passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026. Shirley was born April 22, 1938 in Lakeland, NY where she was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Solvay High School in 1956. It was there that she met her high school sweetheart, Dick Clark. They married in 1956. In 1966, at only 28 years old, she became a widow with three small children. Shirley was devoted to her children and close to them all her life. After working brief periods at Lakeland Bakery and Southland Oil, Shirley began working at Penn Traffic Company in the P&C Corporate offices, where she made many lifelong friends. She was a loyal employee, committing 25 years of service until her retirement. Shirley was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and her faith was unwavering. She enjoyed cooking and shopping, and she spent many years on a bowling league. Family was always her top priority and greatest joy. She cherished the time they spent together more than anything. She never missed a family event, big or small, and was always taking pictures to capture these moments. She enjoyed visiting with her sisters and treasured the close relationships she shared with each of them. Shirley thought the world of her children and grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren were the light of her life. Shirley will be remembered for teaching us the importance of staying close and showing up for one another. We will miss her wonderful cooking, so many favorite meals, the personalized cards she would send everyone for every occasion, her thoughtfulness and so much more. She is leaving behind a family that loved her deeply and will miss her always. We will treasure the memories that we shared, forever. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Cosamina “Connie” (DeMarco) Razzano, her husband, Floyd “Dick” Clark and her son, Joseph Clark. She is survived by her son, Donald Clark; daughter, Annette (Bill) Mitson; granddaughters, Danielle Mitson-Thomas and Nicole (Brandon) Gumtow; great-grandchildren, Vita, Evey and Baron Gumtow; sisters, Mary Jane (Fred) Dolengo, Concetta (Gerald) Fall and Nancy (Thaddeus) Gacek, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends may call Friday, April 10, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave, Solvay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM Saturday April 11, 2026 at St. Marianne Cope Parish–Our Lady of Peace Church, 203 Halcomb St. in Lakeland. Shirley will be laid to rest in Belle Isle Cemetery, Camillus.
