ANN M. (FRENCH) SNELL

Ann left this world on October 11, 2025 to take the seat her husband has been saving for her beside him. She’ll be welcomed with open arms by her husband of 53 years and love of her life, John; her beloved daughter, Lori; her parents, Mary & John French, and her cherished sister, Mary Kate Imbolli. Ann retired from the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities in 2017 after many years of dedicated service. She often said her greatest joy and purpose in life was being a mom and a grandma - roles she filled with absolute love and perfection. A devout Catholic, Ann rarely missed a weekly Mass. Even when it meant walking miles or braving a snowstorm, she always found her way to church until her illness prevented her from doing so. She will leave her legacy of love, kindness, compassion, grace, and faith to her children; John (Deb) Snell and Kate (Chuck) Garbutt, grandchildren; Charles (Jen) Garbutt, Kylie (MJ) Scoville, Jeffrey (Brooke) Scoville, Corinne Scoville and Madeline Garbutt, great grandchildren; Ava, Bristol, Maelie, Charlie and Daniel. She also leaves behind son-in-law; Jeff Scoville Sr., her cherished siblings; Joan Richards and John (Nancy) French; and many adored nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. We are forever grateful to all of the staff at Park Terrace in Radisson for being the best, most loving caregivers to our mom for the past 3 years. You made her time there warm, comfortable and loving. You were part of her family and she loved you. We believe she was sent there to bring her light and spark to you and the other residents. We would also like to thank you for your help and compassion toward us during this time. Love you forever and a day Mom.
