Elaine M. Thayer, of Camillus, Loving Mother, Grandmother and Nonnie, passed away Wednesday July 3, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born December 10, 1942 in Croghan, NY, daughter of the late Peter and Genevieve (Monnat) Lyndaker. She was pre-deceased by her husband’s, Nicholas Spann (1970) and Paul D. Thayer (2013); parents, Peter and Genevieve Lyndaker, her brother and sister-in-law, William (Audrey) Lyndaker; brother, Arnold Lyndaker and brother-in-law, Elwood Virkler. She is survived by her three children; Judi (Reggie)Sanders, of Henderson, NY., John Bauer (Manon Golgan), of Whitesberg, GA and Janeane (John) Lang, of Acworth, GA, 10 grandchildren; Travis McKee, of Biloxi, MS, Joshua (Jennifer) McKee, of Metamora, MI, Brandon (Brandi) McKee, of Denver, CO, and Caitlin McKee, of Syracuse, NY; Tyler Bauer, of Whitesberg, GA, Michael Bauer, of Acworth, GA, and Meagan Bauer, of Coco, FL; Jessica Lang-Sutton, of Acworth, GA, Nicholas (Melissa) Lang, of Acworth, GA and Christian (Cortnei) Lang, of Biloxi, MS, and she was “Nonnie” to her 15 great-grandchildren that she adored. She is also survived by her siblings; Eugene (Louise) Lyndaker, of Croghan, Marietta Virkler, of Croghan; Beverly (Ronald) Bush, of Croghan; Nancy (Leonard) Jackson, of Carthage, her sister-in-law, Caroline Lyndaker, of Lowville and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Monday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue, Solvay and from 10:00 to 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Stephen’s Church, 9748 Main St, Croghan. A Mass of Christian Burial be celebrated immediately following at 10:30 am. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Old Glendale Cemetery, Glenfield.
