Domenick Losurdo, 78, of Fairmount, passed away Wednesday October 23rd at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Syracuse to the late Domenick and Josephine (Lamacchia) Losurdo in 1941. In his youth, he worked at the family farm in Aurora and at the age of 21, he opened King of the Sea Pizza and Fish Fry in Seneca Knolls. He later opened Twin Caesars Lounge, also in Seneca Knolls and was a sales representative for KJ Electric. In 1986, he opened Seneca Knolls Diner along with his wife Margaret which they operated until they retired in 2006. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church. As a lover of sports, he was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, and actively played softball, golf, bowling and cards with friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Francis (Angela) and sister, Carmel (Michael). Domenick is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Margaret Gago, sons; Domenick “Don” (Pam), Michael (Betsy), Robert (Katie), John and Joseph (Jen) and daughter; Natalie Bowles (Don Dunagan), 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother; Robert (Cherryl) Losurdo, sister; Marie (Gary) Stekloff and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 9:15 am Tuesday, November 5th at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, Fairmount, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, November 4th at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
