Dolores Anita (Rabaglia) Racona, 89, of Solvay, passed away peacefully Monday at St. Joseph Hospital. Dolores was born in New York City to the late Lawrence and Aldina (Giovaninni) Rabaglia in 1933. She was a graduate of Solvay High School. She was a Typist at Solvay Process in the Traffic Department for 3 years before starting a family. She was a parishioner of St. Marianne Cope Parish-St. Cecilia Church. Dolores was a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club Auxiliary for many years. She was also a member of the Geddes Senior Citizens. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Robert Racona and brother, Eugene “Gene” Rabaglia. She is survived by her children; Deborah (Dave) Spataro, of Lyncourt, Robert (Dominique) Racona, Jr, of Syracuse, James (Karen) Racona, of Cicero and Kathleen (Ben) Trode, of Macedon, 4 grandchildren; Jessica (Bob) Bukowski, Ashley (Cody) Cziesler, Nicole (Michael) Maresca, and James Racona, Jr, 2 great grandchildren; Guiliana Maresca and Abigail Cziesler, sister-in-law; Julia Racona and brother-in-law; Nick (Joan) Aragona and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 8:45 AM Thursday April 28th at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 AM at St. Marianne Cope Parish-St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd, Solvay, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday April 27th at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
