Charles “Chuck” Milazzo, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on November 5, 2017 at the age of 89. Chuck was born October 20, 1928 in Syracuse to Angelo and Rose. Chuck was a World War II era veteran and retired from Allied Chemical after over 35 years of employment. A life-long resident of Syracuse, he loved to tinker in the garage, was a professional bowler, and contributed to veteran’s groups. His family will miss his quick wit and generous spirit. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, the former Antoinette Annesi; brother, Richard; sister, Genevieve Rector; two sons, Chuck (Sue) and David (Bobbi); nine grandchildren, Melanie (Brian), Neil (Jessica), Amanda (Jeff), Angela (Scott) Getty, Samantha Shehadi, David (Tanya), and Laure (Don) Boody, four great-grandchildren, Jack, Mack, Oliver, and Gemma; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and two brothers Anthony and Donald. Funeral services will be held 9:15 am Thursday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 10 am at St. Patricks and St. Brigids Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Onondaga County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
