C. Frances (Callisto) Miguel, 97, of Solvay, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Van Duyn Center. She was the daughter of Patrick Callisto and Madeline (Reale) Callisto. A life resident of Solvay, she worked at the Ben Franklin Store in Westvale Plaza for 29 years. She was a life member of St. Cecilia Church, active in the Altar & Rosary Society, a member of the Geddes Veterans Auxiliary, and a member of the Molinarese Mother/daughter Italian Club. Her hobbies were reading, knitting, crocheting, golf and playing the piano. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Angelo Miguel, a son, Richard Miguel and two brothers, Anthony and Jack Callisto. She is survived by a daughter Carol (Robert) Fanelli, of Syracuse, 3 grandchildren, Robert (Bethany) Fanelli, of Rochester, Michael (Christina) Fanelli, of Solvay and Christa (Timothy) Kornbluth, of Massapequa Park, and 8 great-grandchildren, Melanie, Jeremy and Allison Kornbluth, Gianna, Sophia, Elias, Joshua and Benicio Fanelli, a brother, Patrick (Diane) Callisto, of Port Richy, FL, sisters-in-law, Edith Callisto, Dora (Mario) Capella and Norma Miguel, all of Syracuse, and Mary Callisto of Carlsbad, CA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday, February 16, at St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay. Private interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.
