Anthony J. Del Vecchio

August 18, 1945 - April 29, 2019

Anthony J. Del Vecchio, of Cicero and Cocoa Beach, FL, passed away Monday April 29th surrounded by the ones he loved. Born to Anthony F. and Helen (Howlett) Del Vecchio, he lived a full and happy life with family being his primary focus. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed attending his children’s and grandchildren’s activities. Holiday’s, vacations, dinner with family and friends was special. He received his AS Degree from CCBI, attended SU and retired from Niagara Mohawk after 35 years of service. He faced his battle with FTD with strength, courage and integrity he demonstrated throughout his life. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 52 years, Annette (Kingdeski) Del Vecchio, son, Anthony J. (Allison) Del Vecchio, Jr, Denise (Guy) Eure, grandchildren, Kali, Chelsea, Brooke, Justin, Tori, Josh and Nathan, brother-in-law, Mark Kingdeski, sister-in-law, Patti (Mark) Kolakowski and many nieces and nephews. His family wishes to thank their friends and neighbors who stayed close to Tony throughout acts of love, loyalty and friendship. And a special thank you to Dr. Bruce Silverstein, Nacentia Health Day Program and Hospice of CNY. Family and friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, with services immediately following at 1:00 pm. Private entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony’s memory to AFTD, Radnor Station Bldg. 2, suite 320, 290 King of Prussia Rd, Radnor, PA 19087 (www.theaftd.org) or Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St, Syracuse, NY 13208.
