ANNE (SANTORUM) ZINGARO
July 27, 1921 - September 30, 2021
Anne Zingaro, age 100, of North Syracuse, passed peacefully on September 30, 2021. Born in Syracuse to the late Frank and Anna (Bagozzi) Santorum, she was a graduate of Solvay High School and employed for many years at Camillus Cutlery. A longtime member of the Tyrol Club, Anne had significant pride in her Austrian heritage. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society with her sister, Genevieve, and a loyal communicant of Saint Margaret’s Parish in Mattydale. She was predeceased by her first husband Mario Furletti, who was in killed in action in World War II and her second husband of 61 loving years, Michael Zingaro. Anne enjoyed spending time with her family (and their pets), working in her yard and baking. She is survived by her niece, Christine (David) Coron, great nieces and nephew, Andrea, Jason and Amy Coron, great-great-nephew, Wesley Coron Richardson, niece, Jean (Jack) Barnes, nephew, David (Carol) Orbino, sisters-in-law, Rose Fedrizzi and Monica Zingaro and many more devoted nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at FF Thompson Hospital and Crest Manor Living and Rehab Center for their loving and compassionate care provided to Anne in her final days. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday October 6th at St. Margaret’s Church, 203 Roxboro Rd, Mattydale; guests are asked to wear masks. Private entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay has care of arrangements.
