ROBERT FAGLIARONE

Robert “Bob” Fagliarone, born on March 29, 1937, in Syracuse, New York, passed away surrounded by his loving family. Bob was truly a one-of-a-kind man whose impact will be forever felt by his family that loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever engrained in all he knew. A respected member of the community and a devout member of the First Christian Assembly Church of Syracuse, New York, Bob's kindness and wisdom touched many lives. While serving in the Army reserves, Bob was a dedicated professional who established his independent practice in 1972, which later evolved into The Fagliarone Group. His entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen were the foundation of his successful career, and his contributions to the industry were widely recognized and respected earning him numerous honors and accolades in the tax field. The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants presented him with its Distinguished Service Award and inducted him into its Hall of Fame. Bob was most humbled to receive the Le Moyne College Distinguished Alumni Award and the Frank Fernandez Business Leader Award. Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Kathryn Rose (Palma); his sons, Edward Vincent and Steven James; his daughters, Vicki Ann and Kristin (Dan) Burnett; his beloved grandchildren, Matthew (Cassie), Ryan, Troy, Benjamin, Harrison, and Francesca, and by his two sisters, Mary Fagliarone Chiarello and Barbara Fagliarone Moleski. Bob is predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Vittoria (DiTota) Fagliarone; sisters, Carmela Fagliarone and Lucia Fagliarone Rautenberg and brother, James Fagliarone. A man of integrity and generosity, Bob's legacy will live on through the countless lives he has enriched. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday July 2, 2024 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME. Bob will be laid to rest in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
