ANGELA (BIGLIARDI) RANALLI

Angela (Bigliardi) Ranalli passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 17th at her Oneida Lake home in West Monroe, NY, in the presence of family. Angela was born in Syracuse, New York August 22, 1935 to the late Angelo and Florence (Sartori) Bigliardi. She grew up in Syracuse, and graduated from Solvay High School. She enjoyed square dancing, garage-sale shopping, crocheting, needlepoint crafting, knitting, playing cards and spending time with family, cousins, and friends and neighbors at her homes in Florida and New York. She particularly enjoyed many weekends and holidays playing “hand-and-glove” and “pass-the-trash” with friends, family and grandchildren. After their 2018 return from their Florida residence, Angela, with her late Husband, Michael P. Ranalli, decided to remain in New York to be closer to family and friends for support of daily housekeeping, care, and coping with health issues. Angela was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Michael P. Ranalli in 2021, and is survived by her sister, Jo Angela, of Simi Valley, California, three sons, David (Amy) Ranalli, of Emporia KS, Mark (Terry) Ranalli, of West Monroe NY and Michael (Nancy) Ranalli, of Cicero NY; 12 cherished grandchildren, and 6 nephews and nieces. The Family wishes to thank Mom’s dedicated daily homecare aids, as well as the professional folks from, CenterWell (Kindred at Home), Upstate University Hospital Department of Geriatrics and Hematology and Oncology Associates of Central New York for their professionalism and sincere interest in Mom’s health and wellbeing. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM. – 6:00 PM, Wednesday June 21sth at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave, Solvay, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM Thursday June 22nd at St. Marianne Cope Parish - St. Cecilia Church, 1100 Woods Rd. Solvay, NY. Burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
