HENRIETTA (IRWIN) DANNIBLE

Henrietta Dannible, 93, of Camillus, affectionately known as “Hank”, passed away on Sunday. She was born in Pennsylvania to the late Cyreneus and Helen (Tudor) Irwin. Her parents moved to Syracuse when she was young, where she attended school, married, and had children. Throughout her life, Henrietta had an instinctual ability to take care of others; she cared for her mom, siblings, godparents, children, neighbors and grandchildren. She had a generous heart and a bright soul. She was truly an angel on earth, helping anyone and everyone she could. She was welcoming to all and had many close friends, neighbors and family who loved her dearly. She always found the good in everyone and was a cheerful conversationalist. Family was everything to her and she was especially proud of her grandchildren and great grandchild; she loved them dearly. On summer afternoons, she enjoyed her flower garden and tomato plants. She loved being surrounded by art and beauty. She also enjoyed watching classic movies with family and friends. Dancing, singing, and storytelling were part of her playful and whimsical side. Her sense of humor was playful, witty, and a delight to everyone around her. One afternoon with her could easily win over your heart! She was predeceased by her loving husband, Phillip Dannible, of 62 years, 2 sisters: Esther Angona and Sarah Jordan and 3 brothers: Charles, Frank, and Floyd Irwin. She is survived by 2 daughters: Donna (Bill) Cerio, of CA, Pamela (Paul) Bianchi, of Liverpool and 2 sons, Phillip, of Syracuse and Joseph, of VA, 4 grandchildren: Ezra Cerio, of CA, Joseph Dannible, Jr, of VA, Heather and Thomas Bianchi, of Liverpool and 1 great-grandson, Elliot Cerio, of CA, brother, John Irwin and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and in-laws. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Friday January 21st at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave, Solvay 13209. Funeral services will be held 8:15 AM Saturday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9 AM at Holy Family Church in Fairmount where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
